Team Canada faced Russia in the Gold Medal game of the World Junior Championship today... after falling behind 3-1 in the 3rd period, Team Canada scored 3 goals in the last 11 minutes to complete the comeback and win the game 4-3. Canada's Alexis Lafreniere was named Tournament MVP. Joel Hofer of Team Canada was named best goaltender while going 5-0 and Rasmus Sandin of the Toronto Maple Leafs was named best defenceman in winning the Bronze Medal for Team Sweden.
