The Leafs were in Chicago without Mitch Marner... Toronto fell behind 3-0 and despite a goal and assist from Tavares and a 4 point night for Auston Matthews on 4 assists... Toronto lost the game 5-4. They go to New York next and face the Islanders on Wednesday.
