Game 6 in Tampa Bay... It was Captain John Tavares scoring the overtime winner to end a first round playoff drought that goes back to 2004. Auston Matthews played a very strong game and was the only other Toronto scorer, as the game was tied 1-1 going into overtime. Ilya Samsonov played fantastic making huge saves as the Lightning outshot the Leafs 32-22... however, it was the Tavares OT goal from Matthew Knies and Morgan Rielly that sends the Leafs on to round 2.
