The Leafs and Flames played a afternoon game in Calgary today... Jack Campbell got the start and Toronto won the game 3-2. Jake Muzzin and Wayne Simmonds scored their first goals of the season and Auston Matthews scored the third goal for the Leafs.


Unfortunately, today, Toronto Maple Leafs Legend George Armstrong passed away at age 90. Armstrong played 21 seasons in the NHL, all for the Maple Leafs and he was Captain for 13 seasons while leading the Blue and White to 4 Stanley Cups... below is a picture of a 14 year old John Tavares getting his jersey signed by George. Young Johnny T. was probably dreaming about what it would be like to be Captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
